Jack Bass

Biography: The published author of three books on investments and a number of magazine articles, his books How to Make Your Money Work For You and How to Make Real Money in Real Estate were both published by Collier MacMillian. He wrote a series of articles including an outline of The Apprentice Millionaire program for Canadian MoneySaver Magazine. Jack has also taught investment courses for continuing education at the college level. He was a part time lecturer in small business for Confederation College in Ontario, Canada. Before retiring he was the executive director for a non-profit business association and prior to that served in the roles of executive director, government advisor and economic development officer in a number of Indian communities in Canada. In 2006 he completed the Canadian Securities Course giving him a formal certificate to add to three decades of experience. All investment decisions are based on a combination of fundamental analysis of the business within the business cycle. Increasingly ,the investment decisions have looked to sector selection and rotation which has resulted in more of a buy and trade pattern rather than a "buy and hold forever" bias.
