Warren Buffet to Investors – Buy Private Jets

Warren Buffet, one of the world’s foremost investors, had a special message to investors in London – forget stocks, but private jets.
Buffet, who rarely visits London, was not too positive about current investment opportunities, claiming that while the economy is down, stock prices were not yet at a bargain price. “We’re not doing a lot of buying,” Mr. Buffet told The Independent (a British newspaper). “I don’t see many companies that trading for less than the value they are worth.”
Investors are often hanging on every word coming out of Warren Buffets mouth, however he was very “hush hush” regarding most of his opinions. He gave general advice to investors, stating “Only invest in what you understand. Don’t buy anything because someone else says it will go up.”
He was much more open however regarding private jets. He started buying private jets in 1998 for his company Berkshire Hathaway and he even said he’s been buying more planes than shares. Apparently, the economic slowdown has not hit the private jet industry.
Buy or Rent?
Most private jets cost between $6 million and $50 million per jet, which makes buying a private jet a sizable investment. Another way to save/make money is to use a private jet charter service such as Noble Jets for your private jet needs. Unless you use your private jet on a daily basis, your private jet will simply sit on the tarmac or in the warehouse waiting to be used.
