I thought I would check up on the monthly XAU cup w/ handle I did back in August, and one look at the current chart says only one thing; BOOLISH. The August chart was one of many reasons I decided to [then] bag hold [now - make money] as a bullish formation like that, covering so much time begged to retain positions no matter how negatively reinforced one was getting from the major blow horns. The formation has expressed itself and how. While there can be corrections (and negative blow horns) along the way, the implications of this breakout are simply too powerful not retain and ride favored positions - in my opinion. I will trade a couple traders and do some rotating around on occasion, but I do not plan to be without substantial gold and to a less degree, silver holdings. Oil has outperformed gold, but the miners appear to be saying - along with the XAL?? - that this will not persist. Regardless, I believe this chart stands on its own merit.
